Get a load of these!

Okay, so I changed the color palette of the Intro to Fiction. I decided to put a wood grain texture behind the drama, referencing a stage floor. Fabric behind the fiction representing the fabrication of storytelling and a painting by Jackson Pollock titled Autumn Rhythm to showcase the rhythm so important in poetry. I am not so sure this last one is quite there though. Let me know... and have a great Thanksgiving everyone.

Print-test the textures... or use real ones instead... Since the design is the same on all three books try to make them more dynamic by using different papers, textures, etc. I think it would be cool to hold the books and get a different 'experience' by the feel of them.

I think these look great. I know I said this earlier, and you might have already tried it, but I would either move the "FIC" on the fiction title so that's it's right justified or move the "T" up to the first line.

I think they look really good! I really like the textures you used. I would keep them how they are.

I really like the subtle color differences on the text in the back. Yeah, I'm looking at your backside. What?

The copy on the back might be a little too light. Also, I'd make the background color of the last book a bit lighter. Overall, they look good.

I look forward to seeing the textures printed. They are so subtle, it is hard to see the stage floor and Pollock painting you mentioned.
Chris's idea of actual textured paper is an interesting one, but perhaps not so practical.
