And I just now noticed the rogue gray line at the top of the third one. Not supposed to be there. Let's pretend it's not, shall we?

ok. i used century gothic on the back for better readability. However i'm tweaking the spacing still because it looks like ass to me. Another problem is that now i don't have Hattenschweiller back there...i'm thinking i could put a quoted review or something?

for the global economics book, i chose coins because the Euro is clearly marked and the circles are reminiscent of the globe.

and think its hitting the mark here. circles still representing the cause and the icon being the effected. went with hell vetica . because i just liked it.......jokes . i think i might change font... to something that coincides with the early 19th century, cause thats when the sociology bomb dropped

Mr. Language finally got the axe.  Every time I brought up the file, it looked more and more like a kid's book, or a 5th grade language book.  He's in a better place now.  Also settled with Century Schoolbook and Helvetica for the fonts, instead of half my library.

Okay, so I changed the color palette of the Intro to Fiction. I decided to put a wood grain texture behind the drama, referencing a stage floor. Fabric behind the fiction representing the fabrication of storytelling and a painting by Jackson Pollock titled Autumn Rhythm to showcase the rhythm so important in poetry. I am not so sure this last one is quite there though. Let me know... and have a great Thanksgiving everyone.

Crazy-colored Covers

Okay, I've tried this several times now and it keeps doing this...the jpeg file is the correct color, but when they are displayed on here, the color looks like this. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Typographic Journey

Hello. The first layout looks really dull here but looks much better in photoshop and in high res. I changed my font to ITC Serif Gothic, which is a much more appropriate font for old chemistry books. I also got rid of the spiral, as you can see. I've added few other details too.

Here they are, in all their glory. I tried the Euro cover with a bigger star circle (flag) but it looked weird. I removed the ligatures and added "First Edition" to give it some balance and break up the white space. I also added the patriotic "i" on the US cover. Go America!
